Champagne Moutard
Single vineyard "Les Perrieres" - Blanc de Noirs - Brut Nature

Pale, straw yellow colour with very small bubbles.

Youthful nose with a lot of yeasty notes and red apples.

Fresh, dry champagne. Sleek, but structured. Refreshing acidity that lingers. On the palate the yeast notes are less pronounced, and instead the champagne showing more quince and red apples. Mineral driven style with a gently mousse.

A young, fresh champagne with personality. Unfortunately a bit closed at the moment, will gain from a few years cellaring. Opened up a bit with some air.

Pairing

Serve to a classic Swedish Råraka (a kind of potato fritter) topped with bleak roe from Kalix and cream fraîche. Richer notes that both the acidity and bubbles will break trough. The salty and mineral notes from the roe are a perfect match with this champagne!
